Who we are
Traffick Jam is a student-led social enterprise dedicated to educating and empowering young people to combat sex trafficking. Founded in 2014 by Mercer University students, we are committed to equipping youth with the knowledge and tools needed to recognize and prevent exploitation. What started as a local initiative in Macon, Georgia, has grown into a movement that extends its impact beyond the community, reaching students and educators across the country.

Why we do what we do
Sex trafficking is a pervasive issue that affects communities nationwide, often targeting vulnerable youth. At Traffick Jam, we believe that prevention begins with education. By fostering awareness and empowering students to take action, we aim to disrupt trafficking networks and create safer environments for young people. Our mission is to inspire a generation of leaders who are prepared to stand against exploitation and drive meaningful change.
How we do it
We take a multi-faceted approach to education and advocacy. Through interactive workshops, curriculum-based learning, and community outreach, we provide practical tools that help youth identify and respond to trafficking situations. We also engage the public through events, branded merchandise, and strategic partnerships that amplify our message and mobilize communities. By combining education with action, we create lasting impact—one student, one school, and one community at a time.
